Hello, my name is Gunner Geis-Schoeps. I was born and raised in Napa California. I moved to Wayne Nebraska to continue my school and football career. This is my second semester at Wayne. I graduated from Sierra College in Rocklin, California with an associate's degree in social and behavioral science prior to attending Wayne. I am studying to major in the music industry. My primary instrument is the guitar. From a young age I fell in love with instruments and have always loved guitars. I have always been heavily influenced by guitarists such as Mick Mars, Van Halen, and Randy Rhodes. My main genre of music is rock but I have been trying to open up and explore different genres of the instrument such as jazz. I am in many of our school ensembles and am trying to learn every instrument I can. I have spent a lot of time learning how to play piano. I started studying piano my first semester at Wayne and enjoy spending time learning. I play football at Wayne and finished my first season here winning the conference championship and making an appearance in the NCAA Division 2 playoffs. It's a dream come true to be able to be 22 and still be able to pursue my passions.
